Bill is the founding member and managing director of
Heney & Associates, LLC. His firm specializes in the

Born in Montpelier, Vermont, Bill was admitted to the
Massachusetts bar in 2001. He was formerly an honors
judicial clerk at the Massachusetts Land Court,
graduated from St. Michael's College (B.A., 1991), and
the New England School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2000).
Bill has been the Executive Business Editor, New England
Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement (2000), and is
a member of the Essex County Bar Association,
Massachusetts Bar Association and American Bar
Association; Massachusetts Conveyancers Association,
Bankruptcy Bar Association, Rotary International and The
