 Ipswich
Properties LLC, an Ipswich-based limited liability
company founded by Thomas Mayo to represent a group of
Ipswich area investors, has been set up to purchase and
convert the former Ipswich Town Hall and District Court
Building into the new and exciting Ipswich Playhouse
Arts & Entertainment Center, serving patrons from
Ipswich, as well as the surrounding Northshore region.
Ipswich Properties LLC will be the owner of the Ipswich
Playhouse building.
Thomas Mayo
Associates/Architects & Urban Designers (TMA) has
been involved with this project since 2004, and
participated as a primary member of the original
development team that won the Town of Ipswich
competition to purchase and develop the property. Mr.
Mayo, an architect with over 30 years of experience in
adaptive reuse and renovation projects, as well as new
construction, continues to lead the development team.
The Development Team consists of TMA, along with
our professional consultants, and a group of
professional advisors dedicated to bringing this
important project to Ipswich.
The Friends of the
Ipswich Playhouse Theater
is a grass roots organization, set up as a 501(c)3
non-profit corporation, to create, fund, manage and
operate the second floor theater venue at the Ipswich
Playhouse, and will be a major contributor of the
planned activities at The Ipswich Playhouse Arts &
Entertainment Center. |
